Sorry for not being explicit. :) The translations is to actually copy
the same original message. In other words:

msgid "gtk-add"
msgstr "gtk-add"

That is what I believe too. Stock strings are translated in the proper
gtk-ui package upstream and everything else inherits it. If someone
wants to use a stock icon but change the caption, then they should
change their code appropriately to do so (and then mark it for
translation).
