[Thunar-dev] eject usb-harddrive

Hi everyone,

I would like to implement the workaround that Kirill Belokurov wrote for KDE for this bug
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/117713) for thunar. Since this bug applies to
only a very limited range of harddrives (I guess it's only the WD Passport series) no one
has really cared for a bugfix (yet).

Anyways, I think that it could be sufficient as a workaround to:
- either have a customised action in thunar only be applied to this specific drive and
spinning it down
- or trying to hack whatever function is used by thunar to "eject" media like
usb-harddrives so that it would not just unmount but also spindown the drive.

If anyone here has a suggestion which of the two options is way to go, that would be
great. Also I'm not sure whether I could implement either of the two options without your
help.

Thanks for taking notice,
Simon
