This could be done with a simple panel plugin that launches Thunar (and 
Thunar would need to write to the recently used file).

The interesting point here (stolen from BeOS Tracker) is the "Copy To" 
and "Move To" action. But I'm not sure if thats a feature for a version 1.0.
