Hello Cyrille,

and thanks for your reply. You’re perfectly right, that’s a good question.

We could keep the first welcome page for the distro, which is the rest of the pages dedicated to the features of the graphical environment, but it's rather a question for the developer/creator (Ajrat).

Mine was a simple mockup to explore content filling and try to give a graphic direction

Regards,

Hello,

The mockup of this welcome screen seems to be good.

Quick question, I already have a welcome screen on my distro. Maybe some other distributions include such a welcome screen. How is it plan to integrate in such situation?

Here is a quick screenshot of it (with dark theme):

I wanted to point this to you for not developping something that distro might disable to display their own welcome app…

Regards,

Cyrille

Thank you for share your project, very interesting and thank you for your effort and time spent developing.
Below is a first sketch of content spaces based on your project. After installing it, I tried to imagine content in three steps based on the template (but free to change this):

The code is available at: https://gitlab.xfce.org/rautyrauty/xfce4-welcome

It can be launched and debugged with VSCodium, and ...

Ajrat Makhmutov
