Permission to submit code via git?

Hello,

I have been working on improving xflock4 script and published some
code as attachments in the issue tracker (and in the former bugzilla).
Yousuf Philips suggested I ask here, if I could submit some code
through git. I am somewhat familiar with git, but I am not familiar
with using gitlab.xfce.org with git. So I would need some help in
cloning and forking xfce4-session etc.
