GitLab CI up and running

Hi Alex,
yes, the initial test we do on core repos will be make distcheck (which
includes abicheck) :)
We are still tweaking the setup and are rolling it out to components one by
one.
As soon as we have the basics set up for core, apps and maybe plugins Wer
can think about adding more tests.
