Hello people,
for the last few days I've been working on an Xfce skin and template
changes for Bugzilla and now I'd like more feedback – and testing – from
you.
You can enable the new theme by logging in to Bugzilla, then going to
Preferences [1] and changing "Bugzilla's general appearance (skin)" to
"Xfce".
The new skin has two main goals:
1) Make Bugzilla look more integrated with the Xfce websites
2) Make it easier to use Bugzilla (to ultimately lure more people to
contribute)
The biggest implemented updates so far are:
– Front page [2]
– Bug pages (eg. [3]), especially bug title area
– Bug filing page (eg. [4]), which has had a complete overhaul
Please reply with any feedback about the changes; I would like to hear
your thoughts especially if you file new bugs. In the unlikely but
possible event that something doesn't work technically (eg. setting some
field isn't done correctly when reporting a new bug), be in touch as well.
Cheers,
Pasi
