Out of curiosity, in an application like the new Gedit[1] (as a recent
example of where I first saw this UI abortion), where would the main
menubar go, since the client is drawing hideous windows border/neutered
toolbars where the menubar would normally go and (luckily) XFCE doesn't
have a "global menu" thing? Would it just get crammed under the
GtkHeaderBar off to the right side of the sidebar, or would it appear to
float ontop of the client drawn borders or something else?

Cheers,
Matthew Brush
