Xfburn can be built only if you use this:

  # fix build issue
  sed -i '1 i\
    #include <glib-object.h>' \
    xfburn/xfburn-settings.h

I took it from Arch PKGBUILD for my FrugalBuild.

About new features with XFCE 4.10, don't forget there a some nice
whishlists there:

IMHO I'll appreciate a Display Manager (Xfdm?), I use Slim but it is
obsolete for months.
