Get involved with XFCE

Hello i have been using XFCE for quite long time and know i finished
reading/doing K&R , implementation some data structures and algorithms in C
and doing some little project like a project to schedule your time and
stuff like that. I already worked with Python and a bit of Perl but never
in a big project like XFCE. So i would like to know if there is work for a
programmer wannabe to help XFCE improve.
