Building and Installing Xfce 4.10

My name is Sean Doherty.  I am a senior computer science major taking a
software engineering course focused on open source development at Western
New England University.
A group of students and I are hopefully going to be doing
some accessibility development for Xfce 4.10.
I haven't really done much UNIX work in my time so I am a little lost.  I
was wondering if anyone could give me a rundown or provide a guide on
how to build Xfce 4.10.

So far I have cloned the following git repositories:
xfce4-dev-tools, libxfce4util, xfconf, libxfce4ui, garcon, exo,
xfce4-panel, thunar, tumbler, xfce4-appfinder,
xfce4-power-manager, xfce4-session, xfce4-settings,xfdesktop, xfwm4

I've followed the instructions here: http://www.xfce.org/download/building
but I'm not sure where to go after cloning the git repositories.

Any help would be much appreciated!
