The interaction with upower is simple, with polkit, it is a bit complex, 
but already the interaction is done using dbus calls in xfpm and 
xfce4-session, the only risk here is a possible change in some methods 
in upower or polkit, this might potentially happen, you know the story 
of these two services, but okay, even in this case the dbus call fails 
and that's it.
