Note: foo-projects.org is supposed to become a non-profit organization
in the near future acting as the exact same umbrella you just
described. I know it has been a long time since FOSDEM 2005 (where we
discussed this topic in detail amongst the developers) .. yet, the
plans are about to turn into reality.
