Oh, and I'd also discourage the use of the term "cards" here, in favor 
of "devices."  Unfortunately, "devices" is more technical, but "cards" 
could be confusing to a user who has a USB sound device (or just a 
normal onboard sound device) and doesn't know that, back in the day, 
sound hardware didn't come built into a computer and had to be added via 
an expansion card.
