svn tarballs

Hi,

I'm beginning to take a look at current SVN, and I face again an old 
problem : some tarballs are corectly built with "tarball basename" = 
"source dir name" , some aren't....

ie :
"xfce-mcs-manager-4.5.0svn-r27141.tar.bz2"  extracts to 
"xfce-mcs-manager-4.5.0"

As I use scripts to unpack tarballs and build them bulky , I let you 
guess what I have to do before compiling, painful !!

Would it be possible to use consistent packaging for XFCE sources ???
