Certain systray icons are not showing since r26050 (xfce4-panel)

Dear Xfce devs,

This is just a simple message (for Nick?) to inform you that since r26050,
certain icons only show if you open & collapse the systray's hidden icons.
Others stay 'blank' all the time.

Network manager (nm-applet) shows after a open/close, but bluez-gnome
(bluetooth-applet) stays 'blank' all the time...
