xfce-mixer alsa - unable to save/load profiles

Hi.
I compiled xfce 4.4.0 and configured the mixer to use alsa, but trying to  
save profiles doesn't work. I checked profiles.xml file and saw that only  
the profile names were saved, no other data.
When I try to load a previously saved profile all controls dissapear, and  
I get an empty mixer window.
Is it a known issue?
