root window mous-click menus disappeared...

Hi,

I have installed Fedora Core 6, which comes with a
release candidate of latest XFCE.

Mouse-clicking on the root window, did following:
  right-mouse-click: desktop-menu
  middle-mouse-click: Switch/Add/Remove Workspaces
  left-mouse-click: <nothing happens>

However, I have played a bit with the configuration;
for example, XFCE came by default with two panels,
but I removed one.
At some point, suddenly, the above mouse click
actions on the root window have gone.
How do I configure it back again?
