Good to see that development of mousepad is not stalled anymore.

But why the capitalization in the name "Mousepad"? That's really
unfortunate (yeah, I know, Thunar and Terminal does the same, but that's
no excuse :þ )

Capitalization is a problem on UNIX and causes trouble on other systems,
I find this ugly and I really don't see the benefit of it...
