Hey, Fabian. It is just coincidence that me and a friend are writing
one and it is possible (although not probable) that at the end of this
week-end we'll have a basic working version.
Its called "Portrait" (I hope we won't have any clashings with the name...)
The guy is developing it with me is Rodrigo Coacci, which is also in
this list. The idea is having nothing more than an image viewer (with
zoom / rotate / next / prev functions, so one can easily navigate
through cam picture folders).
It probably won't have any advanced features as we started it so I
could help Coacci understand how to write OO software with Gobject &
Gtk+.
So, relax and you'll have your
extremely-simple-image-viewer-but-not-as-minimalistic-as-feh :)
