The panel checks for a COMPOSITING_MANAGER manager selection (sorry
for the incomprehensible X terminology). I believe this is some sort
of standard. Olivier, am I right?

If it is a standard, it might be better to ask beryl to support it. I
do like the fact that you only get the transparency slider when there
is a chance that it will actually work ;)
