startxfce4 going to support xserverrc?

  I started a thread about the startxfce4 script on the user ml.  I
think it has to take place on the dev list now.  The problem is the
next: apparently the startxfce4 script doesn't support xserver options,
and maybe you want to apply the patch I attach.

  I have open the manual of dash, and dig for the substitutions...
those old memories :-)  AFAIK if a script works with DASH, it works
with every shells.  Here it works with dash, bash, zsh, and ksh.
