 I confirm that -- my desktop machine is a 366cel with an i386-optimized
System - up2date Debian GNU/Linux 3.1+1 (etch). On my machines I'm never
using definitely non-free softwares. I'll using 3d accel with
opengraphics.org. So, currently I've no 3daccel (my game is Go - see.
qgo.sf.net .) So, I'm not using compositor :-) but I'm using Xfce for lot
of times.

 3.6 - near good
 3.8 - very good - my standard DE (some settings by hand)
 4.0 - yes, antialiased gtk2, right default settings
 4.2 - near perfect! nice icons, cool plugins
 4.4alpha1 - cool things: multiple panels, deskicons, etc., but no
             release goals:stabilization->slow release process.
             I'm tested (fvwm-)Crystal desktop yesterday. But today:
             Brian announced xfdesktop feature freeze. Hope? :-)
