xfce-exec functions spawns zombies

looks like we got a zombie army on our hands :D

i recently mentioned this problem. i was getting zombies from apps 
launched by xfdesktop and the panel. now they only seem to result from 
certain panel plugins (mailwatch plugin, menu plugin).
