File system monitoring is available if thunar is compiled with support
for Gamin/FAM. xfdesktop just uses the thunar-vfs library. If FAM/Gamin
support is not available, both xfdesktop and Thunar will not be informed
about changes to the file system done by other processes.

Still, I think that F5 would be nice to have for xfdesktop.
