Programs crash when changing orientation of xfce4-panel

Do both these apps have systray icons?  Our systray probably gets
unmapped and remapped when the orientation changes (Jasper?).  Many,
many apps have issues with recovering when the systray disappears and
reappears again.  So in that case, yes, it would be a bug in those
applications, not in xfce4-panel.
