Well, the pager already has a highlight for when it's selected, so I
imagine it wouldn't be too difficult.

The problem I see is that I'd like to do something similar and have it
stop blinking after X seconds, but having *two* workspaces in the
'highlighted' state sounds like it would be even more confusing.  I need
to think about this a bit more.
