Well, I thought this thread was created for collecting suggestions for a
nice default configuration. Who cares about irssi, gaim, abiword and "su
-"?! And system and network monitors are goodies, they are not part of
the core Xfce packages. 

Please don't post your already customized stuff here. This is
nothing but counterproductive.

BTW, "su -" would even raise errors on sudo-only machines, so putting
it into the default panel is a no-go.
