Plugins for new panel

I've ported the clipman plugin for the new panel framework, but why are
external plugins (the button icon) not greyed when the "add items" dialog is
opened?

And when I click the launcher icon slowely (hold the button down for > 0.5
second) the panel crashes with some glib/gdk errors. Do more people have
this
problem?

Anyways, the panel is awesome and writing plugins is easier than before.
