Is ns-remote outdated?

When using xfce_about for creating an about dialog, the default value
for the website button (when you click it) is ns-remote -remote
"openURL(%s)".
Is this not a bit outdated, why don't you use FireFox, this is probably the
most
used browser atm. (for Xfce users???).

I think this default value is also used by the F1 button??
