taskbar expander confusion

actually, i would be more interested in the behavior "expanding" into
what the visual message is, especially since it already tells me how
many tasks are in the individual lists there.
try to erase what you know about widgets and their behavior and look at
those things. doesn't make you think that you should be able to make
them larger by grabbing the marked corner?
i would be more interested in enabling the look than disabling it.
