changing of gtk theme in svn version?

I did a full install of xfce out of svn on tuesday but i seem unable to
change my gtk theme out of the control panel... "Window Manager" is
there but "User Interface" is vanished...

Another thing is that since i updated my "Terminal" it doesn't seem to
remember my settings for the "BackSpace" key whenever I open "screen" in
"Terminal".... 

maybe this is due to craptoo... anyway i would like to see it solved...
Anybody with suggestions?
