how could you tell?  last time i checked, HEAD and xfce_4_2 were 
identical, aside from some xffm stuff.  at any rate, all the CVS/Entries 
files show the correct tag.

the xfce_4_2 branch isn't for reporting problems.  that's what the betas 
and RCs were for.
