xfce4-session incompatible with compositor

The session manager doesn't have to know about the XComposite/XDamages
extensions.

All it needs to do is not grab the display.

Nope, not here, it doesn't work with xcompmgr. Neither xfce4-session not
gnome-session (2.6.x) work with xcompmgr (nor xfwm4 with compositor
enabled)

I don't see any, if you grab the server, you block the compositor,
whatever compositor it is.
