Actually I suspect it's going to be even easier. As far as I know,
cygwin had an OSS compatible sound layer added to it some while back. 
I'm just not sure how complete that support is, and if it contains the 
required mixer support.

Anyways, I'll look into that a little later when the rest of the port is 
stable... If there's any volunteers to help out, just let me know :)
