workspace wrapping

i've noticed recently (well, several weeks ago), that the behavior of 
workspace wrapping has changed.  alt+ctrl+(left/right) no longer wrap 
around when you hit the leftmost or rightmost workspace, and when 
dragging windows across workspaces, going off the left side of the 
screen on the leftmost workspace just brings the window to the right 
side of the same workspace.  i really liked the old behavior better, 
where you could wrap around with window drags and the shortcut keys.  
any chance of this coming back?
