xfdesktop (4.2 beta) aborts/crashes on startup

that's a good point, and i'm not really sure what the best course of 
action is here.  i just added the ability to our icon theme parser to be 
able to ignore SVG icons, though i won't be able to add an option for 
that to xfdesktop because of the string freeze.  hmm...
