I think the best answer to this is that maybe the reason people feel 
frustrated (even if they got a bit carried away) is that this is the 
"development" list and the kinds of questions you are posing are more 
like user questions (you didn't really seem to understand the KDE libs 
startup issue, so I guess you're not a developer). It may be better to 
ask them on the user list, even if it is for the beta version... then 
the development list can remain focussed on developer issues.
