Transparent panel thoughts

Olivier,

I never liked a window maximizing behind the panel before. I know you 
recently changed this option and I thought that it was a good idea at 
the time. Now that I have transparency working I've noticed that having 
a window maximize behind a transparent panel is a valid option. With 
transparency set to greater than 50%, even 75%, and having the panel not 
transparent when the mouse cursor is over it really amounts to an 
alternative to the 'autohide' option. Because the transparency is real 
time, you can see background windows being updated in real time. Don't 
you think that when the panel is transparent that there could be, at 
least,  a hidden option to allow the old behaviour.
