Hi all,
After a good 10 days of work, I'm pleased to announce the release of
Xfmedia 0.4.0. You can get it from the usual place:
http://spuriousinterrupt.org/projects/xfmedia/
A list of changes can be found here:
http://spuriousinterrupt.org/projects/xfmedia/files/NEWS
and the full ChangeLog can be found here:
http://spuriousinterrupt.org/projects/xfmedia/files/ChangeLog
This release includes a host of stability fixes, as well as some new
features. Please report all bugs and feature requests on
http://bugzilla.xfce.org/ .
For those of you just joining us, Xfmedia is a simple media player based
on libxine, a mature and powerful audio and video rendering library. It
requires a recent version of libxine, as well as libxfce4util and
libxfcegui4 4.2beta1 or greater. Xfmedia's goal is to be simple and
easy to use, and manages playlists (and general experience) similarly to
XMMS, while providing a familiar GTK2 user interface.
Cheers,
Brian
