MCS plugins going mad/MCS manager thread problem?

Oh, didn't know that. Something in my head made me thing of it like an old 
unwanted compat part.

Anyway, removing the panel mcs plugin definetly solves the problem.

But looking at the code again, it should be easy to replace the libxml part 
with a simple glib xml parser, keeping backward compat for atleast one major 
release, which is important IMHO.

No, xffm uses mcs_manager_* functionality to store its settings.
