MCS plugins going mad/MCS manager thread problem?

I recently changed the panel to use the libxfce4mcs facilties instead of
the home-made libxml file. CVS HEAD only. It has never been in any
official release, so removing the backward compat would be breaking
peoples settings. If it fixes the bugs you described, that might be
worth it.

Note that the panel settings are currently broken as well because of the
above change.

Xffm was using libxml for it's settings as well, was that changed
already?
