i thought everyone in Europe spoke all the EU's official languages (grin).

a native speaker can refine it, by i would translate this as:
"Would it be possible so to extend the XFCE desktop
that one can drop things on it?" ie a request for desktop icons.

to Philip S the response is that is not currently under development
& has been the subject of much debate, but mb available in 4.4 .

again, correct me anyone who has more accurate info.
