I would normally agree that there's no need for such things, and
still do agree about toolbars and menus getting in the way, but tabs
are an awfully nice feature in almost all applications. I normally
work at 1600x1200, but those times when I am more limited, like on a
laptop, being able to have a tabbed xterm would have its benefits.

I find gnome-terminal and konsole lacking in support of a few xterm
features, but in general, the idea is a nice one.
