Hey Brian, I noticed the background is set twice on startup. I am currently using a backdrop list with rather large images, so then it is fairly obvious ;) I'm not sure what the cause is, but apparently the mcs manager sends out a change notification more than once. Perhaps we have to add a 'in_startup' flag or something. Jasper
