originally my purpose for the text was as a fallback if the icon file 
was missing (it occurs to me since it isn't themable [tho it should be], 
might as well just gdk-pixbuf-csource the damn thing and include it in 
the plugin itself).  JF apparently liked the text better than the icon 
and made it an option.
