feature requests to xfwm and xfce4-panel

You can change between desktops using the scroll wheel of your mouse
currently, and you can also drag windows between desktops by dragging
off screen to left or right. I realize neither of these are what you
propose, but they are alternatives that already exist. Personally, I
like them -- and I often plant my cursor on the edges, so this sort of
feature would cause problems for me. ;-)

That's my main gripe with the panel, as well, and why I'm currently
using gnome 2's.

If you use transparent png or jpg images in your theme, this should
already work... right?
