Hej Jasper
(lol... can you speak Swedish?)

Thanks for your quick response.

I tried posting on the list yesterday but I guess I did something wrong.
Mabye all I did was sending a mail to all subscribers. If you can (and
have the time) mabye you can post both my letters and your response?

I did as you suggested (recompiling with --enable-debug, and thereafter
ran xfdesktiop from a
terminal.

This is what I get in the rerminal when left clicking the desktop.

----------------------------[linus at pclinus linus]$ xfdesktop

I only get a small grey rectangle (as an empty menu) when I'm left
clicking the desktop. The right menu works perfectly.

Thanks again
/Linus

hej Linus,

Not much of a manual yet, is it? ;-)

Anyway, I'm afraid I dont know. I haven't heard of that particular
problem in a while, but I don't think we ever found the cause of it
either.

Do you get the windowlist menu on right-click or nothing at all?

You could try compiling with --enable-debug, then running xfdesktop from
an xterm and look at the output when you click on the root window. That
may give you some clue. You can send the output to the mailing list too,
perhaps someone gets a brright idea.
