Well, I'm wrong on xfwm4 plugin that is placed in the right directory,
but I'm right about backdrop and xffm:
# ll /usr/lib/xfce-mcs-manager/plugins/*.so
mai 2 22:17 /usr/lib/xfce-mcs-manager/plugins/backdrop_settings.so
mai 2 22:15 /usr/lib/xfce-mcs-manager/plugins/keyboard_plugin.so
mai 2 22:12 /usr/lib/xfce-mcs-manager/plugins/libxfce4settings.so
mai 2 22:27 /usr/lib/xfce-mcs-manager/plugins/libxffmsettings.so
mai 2 22:32 /usr/lib/xfce-mcs-manager/plugins/margins_plugin.so
mai 2 22:15 /usr/lib/xfce-mcs-manager/plugins/mouse_plugin.so
mai 2 22:15 /usr/lib/xfce-mcs-manager/plugins/ui_plugin.so
mai 2 22:17 /usr/lib/xfce-mcs-manager/plugins/workspaces_settings.so
mai 2 22:13
/usr/lib/xfce-mcs-manager/plugins/xfce4-iconbox_settings.so
mai 2 22:16 /usr/lib/xfce-mcs-manager/plugins/xftaskbar_plugin.so
mai 2 22:32 /usr/lib/xfce-mcs-manager/plugins/xfwm4_plugin.so
# ll /usr/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/*.so
mai 4 00:34 /usr/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/keyboard_plugin.so
mai 4 09:49 /usr/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/libxfce4settings.so
mai 4 00:45 /usr/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/libxffmsettings.so
mai 4 00:49 /usr/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/margins_plugin.so
mai 4 00:34 /usr/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/mouse_plugin.so
mai 4 00:34 /usr/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/ui_plugin.so
mai 4 09:50 /usr/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/xfce4-iconbox_settings.so
mai 4 00:34 /usr/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/xftaskbar_plugin.so
mai 4 00:49 /usr/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/xfwm4_plugin.so
Should be easy to fix though.
Anyway, my point is not if the change was right or wrong, just that such
change should be discussed, and kept under control (what does it
provide, why do we have to do that -long term goal?-, what's the risk,
is everybody aware of the change ,etc.)
Not a big deal anyway. I just would like to improve the process.
Cheers,
