I have written a perl script to translate the debian menu for xfce4.
Hey, anyone around here who is *not* using debian?

It acts as a filter:

$ deb2xfce4.pl /etc/deskmenurc.debian > ~/.xfce4/menu2.xml

After that just remove the comments around &menu2; in your
~/.xfce4/menu.xml.
